Seahawks Embarrass Broncos in Lopsided 2022 Matchup

Broncos Fall to 3-9 with Dismal Performance

Seattle Dominates from Start to Finish

The Seattle Seahawks humiliated the Denver Broncos on Sunday in a 34-13 victory at Lumen Field, marking Denver's sixth consecutive loss.

The Seahawks jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, scoring on their opening drive and forcing a Broncos three-and-out on their first possession. Quarterback Geno Smith threw for 228 yards and two touchdowns, while running back Kenneth Walker III rushed for 107 yards and a score.

Denver's offense struggled all game, managing just 174 total yards. Russell Wilson, who was making his return to Seattle after being traded to the Broncos in the offseason, was sacked three times and threw an interception.

Seattle's Defense Stifles Broncos

The Seahawks defense was equally impressive, holding the Broncos to just 13 points and forcing four turnovers. Linebacker Cody Barton had two interceptions, while defensive end Uchenna Nwosu recorded two sacks.

The Broncos' defense, which had been one of the league's best early in the season, has now allowed at least 23 points in four straight games.

Wilson's Struggles Continue

Wilson's struggles continued in Seattle, as he completed just 15 of 38 passes for 126 yards. He has now failed to throw a touchdown pass in three of his last four games.

The Broncos have now lost six straight games and are in danger of missing the playoffs for the third consecutive season. Seattle, meanwhile, improved to 5-6 and kept their playoff hopes alive.
