Deep Silver delays Payday 3, announces new downloadable content for Payday 2

Payday 3 was originally scheduled to release in 2023, but has now been delayed to 2024.

Deep Silver cited the need for more development time as the reason for the delay.

Starbreeze Studios, the developer of the Payday series, announced the delay in a statement on its website.

"We have made the difficult decision to delay the release of Payday 3 to 2024," the statement said. "This was not an easy decision, but we believe it is the right one in order to deliver the best possible game to our fans."

Starbreeze said that the team has been working hard on Payday 3, but that they need more time to polish the game and make it the best it can be.

Deep Silver also announced new downloadable content for Payday 2.

The new DLC, called "The Black Cat Heist," will be released on October 26th.

The Black Cat Heist will feature a new heist, new weapons, and new characters.

Payday 2 is a cooperative first-person shooter game in which players take on the role of robbers who must complete heists.

The game has been a critical and commercial success, selling over 5 million copies.
