2024 Softball Schedule Announced
Sooners to Host McNeese State, Play in Oklahoma City
The University of Oklahoma softball team has announced its 2024 schedule, which features a home tournament at Hall of Fame Stadium and a trip to Oklahoma City for the McNeese State Tournament. The Sooners went 5-0 in Lake Charles last season, and they will be looking to continue their success in 2024.
The Sooners will open their season with a three-game series against McNeese State at home on February 8-10. They will then travel to Oklahoma City for the McNeese State Tournament on February 15-17. The Sooners will face off against some of the top teams in the country at the tournament, including No. 1 Florida, No. 2 UCLA, and No. 3 Oklahoma State.
After the tournament, the Sooners will return home for a 10-game homestand. They will host No. 4 Texas on February 22-24, and they will also face off against No. 5 Alabama on March 1-3. The Sooners will then travel to Austin to face Texas on March 8-10.
The Sooners will return home for a 12-game homestand on March 15-27. They will host No. 6 Arizona on March 15-17, and they will also face off against No. 7 Oregon on March 22-24. The Sooners will then travel to Tucson to face Arizona on March 29-31.
The Sooners will close out their regular season with a three-game series against Texas Tech at home on April 5-7. They will then travel to Lubbock to face Texas Tech on April 12-14.
The Sooners are the three-time defending national champions, and they are looking to make it four in a row in 2024. They have a talented team returning, and they will be one of the favorites to win the championship again this year.
